Online Security Policy
County Bank's Online Banking provides a private and secure environment in which to conduct banking transactions and communicate with us online. We've taken all the necessary precautions to ensure that only you or those you authorize on your signature card have access to accounts or account information. Here are some of the steps we've taken:
Accessing County Bank Online
Each time you log on, you'll be asked for your user name and password. Please keep this information confidential. You will also set up the first time you log in a multi-factor authentication picture and phrase. These will remain the same unless you choose to change it. If you forget your User ID, it will be necessary for you to contact County Bank. However, if you forget your password, you may click on the "Forget Your Password" link. A temporary password will be sent to your email address that we have on file. This email will only be good for 20 minutes.
Encryption
County Bank's Online Banking is fast, easy and secure. You can trust that all your account information is secure. We use the latest encryption methods and equipment to be sure our system meets or exceeds current security standards. Encryption is a technique that scrambles the information you send to us, and we unscramble it upon receipt. This provides a very high level of protection so no one else can learn anything about your relationship with County Bank or the account information that we make available to you. This encryption – technically referred to as "SSL protocol", is controlled by your browser. So, in order to access your account your browser must support required encryption. Our system supports Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 7, 8 and 9, Mozilla Firefox versions 3 and 4, and Google Chrome versions 9 and 10. We recommend that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or greater with 128-bit encryption, which is the most advanced currently available for web transactions, so you could feel comfortable while working with your finances on line.
