County Bank Announces Promotions
The Board of Directors of County Bank is pleased to announce that 2019 is starting off with the promotion of a group of key staff members. “Strong leadership is vital to the long-term growth of County Bank and these individuals are the foundation of that growth,” said Dan O’Rourke, County Bank’s President. “Our Board has made a commitment to creating a leadership team that will carry the bank forward and these promotions recognize the implementation of that commitment.”
Michael Geiger was named Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer, in addition to his current role as manager of the bank’s Deep River and Montezuma branches. In his new role Mike will lead the bank’s loan department including management of the bank’s loan officers and loan administration team. Mike has been with County Bank since the Deep River branch was acquired in 2010 and has been in banking since 2003.
Amy Wilcox, a County Bank Vice President and the bank’s Cashier, was named Chief Financial Officer. In her new role Amy will oversee the bank’s financial affairs as well as manage the operations, information technology and personal banking departments. Amy joined the bank in 2012 and has been Cashier since 2016.
Amy Halleran, Jeff Kuntz, Clint Mikesell and Dave Wood were named Senior Vice Presidents in addition to their roles as loan officers. Amy, who will celebrate 20 years with the bank, manages the bank’s real estate lending, serves as the bank’s Compliance Officer and co-manages the bank’s social media program. Jeff is a commercial loan officer as well as manager of the bank’s internal loan audit program. Clint specializes in agricultural lending and serves as a mentor to new loan officers learning the intricacies of ag lending. Dave specializes in agricultural and commercial lending and is a specialist in working out complicated loan issues. Amy, Jeff and Clint are in the Bank’s Sigourney office and Dave is manager of the bank’s Gibson office primarily serving customers in Iowa, Mahaska and Keokuk counties.
Becky Seeley was named Vice President-Information Technology. Becky manages all of the computer-related projects in the bank as well as the bank’s risk assessment and emergency preparedness programs.
Ben Schanbacher, a loan officer in the bank’s Deep River and Montezuma offices, was named Assistant Vice President. Ben serves ag and commercial customers in Poweshiek county and surrounding communities.
Two members of the bank’s loan administration team were also named Assistant Vice Presidents. Charlene Doehrmann manages the bank’s Loan Administration Department. She joined the bank in 2005 and was originally a personal banker in the then-new Williamsburg branch. Bridget Miller also joined County Bank with the Deep River acquisition in 2010 and has been in banking for more than 15 years. She is a personal banker and loan administration specialist in Deep River and also co-manages the bank’s social media and marketing programs.
