April is Community Banking Month and County Bank is joining with members of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) in recognizing the unique spirit that community banks demonstrate every day as part of their local communities.
County Bank was an exhibitor at the Montezuma Business Expo on Tuesday March 8th.
Williamsburg Mayor Frank Murphy joined County Bank Chairman Terry Greenley and Senior Vice President Dan O'Rourke in breaking ground for the bank's new branch office building at 500 North Highland Street in Williamsburg on Monday, November 9. The new building will replace the bank's current office on the same site.
A ribbon cutting ceremony by the Sigourney Area Development Corporation (SADC) helped County Bank introduce the newest “member” of the County Bank team to Sigourney on Thursday, October 29th.
“Meet PAT,” was the introduction by County Bank president, Tom Bates as the ribbon cutting started. “We’re proud and excited to be one of the first banks in Iowa and the first in our area to offer this new way of banking. This is part of our ongoing effort to make banking at County Bank easier and more convenient for our customers.”
County Bank, a locally owned independent community bank headquartered in Sigourney, has announced that it received approval from the Iowa Division of Banking to open a limited branch office in Montezuma. The new office will be located at 103 E. Main, Unit B, and will replace the bank’s Loan Production Office (LPO) on South Front Street.
County Bank president Tom Bates announced the appointment of Ben Schanbacher as a loan officer. He will be located in the bank’s offices in Deep River and Montezuma.
