County Bank Receives Approval for New Office
County Bank, a locally owned independent community bank headquartered in Sigourney, has announced that it received approval from the Iowa Division of Banking to open a limited branch office in Montezuma. The new office will be located at 103 E. Main, Unit B, and will replace the bank’s Loan Production Office (LPO) on South Front Street.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us and for the community,” said County Bank vice president, Mike Geiger. “We’ve had a successful few years at the LPO and look forward to being able to expand services to our Montezuma customers at our new office.”
Geiger, who was named branch manager of the bank’s Deep River office July 1, will head the new Montezuma location. Bridget Miller, a personal banker in the Deep River office and newly appointed loan officer Ben Schanbacher will also staff the Montezuma office.
County Bank’s new Montezuma location is scheduled to open October 1, 2015. Initial hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until noon and by appointment. In addition to the Montezuma, Deep River and Sigourney locations, County Bank has offices in Gibson and Williamsburg.
